Cancellation Policy

Please note bookings can be made up to 24 hours before the time. Cancellations and rescheduling can be done online up to 24 hours before the set time. Should you not be able to make your session and are unable to cancel online, please contact The Bird Nest Studio directly via email or phone. This may incur a 50% cancellation fee. The Bird Nest Studio will endeavour to accommodate you and reschedule to a convenient time for all. Please arrive 15 minutes before your allotted time. Bird Nest Studio cannot guarantee to make up missed time due to other bookings on the day. The Bird Nest Studio, and Robyn Dunlop Productions (Pty) Ltd, will protect all personal identifying information per the POPIA act. Data transfer is through a secure portal that only the Client and The Bird Nest Studio will have access to. The booking form includes a question if Bird Nest Studio may use some footage captured during your session (behind-the-scenes or a sample of the work) for portfolio and marketing reasons. This is completely at your discretion and your consent may be withdrawn at any time. Bird Nest Studio is aware that most footage will only be useable after your own publication of the work. You are entering our home, please respect that. The Bird Nest Studio and it's subsidiaries hold no responsibility for any loss or damage occurring while on it's premises, i.e. that of 4 Surrey road, Mowbray, Cape Town, South Africa, 7700. Should damage occur to any of The Bird Nest Studio's equipment due to negligence of the client, the client will be responsible for repair or replacing of the damaged equipment. There are security measurements in place, including 24 hour surveillance. The nearest hospital is less than 1 km away. The Client and Personnel safety is of utmost importance. Should you feel uncomfortable in any way, please make this known and measures will be taken to rectify this. Bird Nest Studio reserves the right to refuse admission, or request ejection of anyone behaving in an untoward manner, whether this be discriminatory, defamatory or violent. This is an open, safe space, welcoming of everyone. We discourage any kind of bigotry or discrimination. Most of all it is a creative space.
