I’m a performer at heart—and always have been! My journey started as a schoolgirl busting hip-hop moves, earning a spot on the South African Hip Hop Team for the World Cup. But let’s just say university priorities and some killer first-year spread (we all know that one) turned that dream into a past life.

Fast forward to my gap year in New York City, where I decided to embrace my newfound love for sarcasm and try stand-up comedy. And that’s where it all began! Comedy became my stage, my therapy, and my way of connecting with people.

Now, I’m an award-nominated comedian, an award-winning actor and film maker and a semi-trained singer (yes, belting Taylor Swift at karaoke counts). 

But before that gap year I finished a degree in Biochemistry and in my “serious” life, I’m a clinical researcher—because that’s my true passion, comedy is just what pays the bills!
